When I played LOL and Smite, most of the heroes in each role felt extremely samey, with only a few characters having a unique playstyle. One other pro of its complexity is that hero abilities in Dota are just straight up more diverse in terms of the things that they do. Heroes in Dota can be played in a variety of ways whereas in Smite, it felt like each hero was literally designed to be a certain role and could only play that one role. Dota is definitely the trickiest to learn, but it is also the most diverse in terms of game play. Smite especially is weird, since your playing a game of literal gods and your skin is like a fuckin chibi head cartoon version of the god or something? I just hate the lack of consistent design. I find the cosmetics in those games to be absolutely just strange and bad. Some people within the dota community complain about some sets having too many particle effects or whatever, but for me any issues I have with Dota cosmetics pale in comparison to LOL hots and esp Smite. Speaking of which, and this is purely subjective for me, but in Dota there are a lot of cosmetics, just like any moba. The only micro transactions in Dota however are purely cosmetic. In Dota, you have every single hero unlocked from the beginning, whereas in most other mobas you actually only have a couple unlocked and maybe a rotating roster of others, so you'll have to pay to have access to your favorite heroes. Some things I didn't see mentioned by people recommending LOL and Smite are: "Is this site legit?" - About gray market keys In the case of clickbait, or content lacking context, you may lightly edit the title.
